The week seems to be going fast, with day 4 now complete of our second summer football course. Today the focus was on converting goalscoring opportunities, which was a logical consequence from yesterday’s theme of building up.

Throughout the day we used a variety of practices involving combinations, to create goal scoring opportunities. This was welcome to all as it focused on the ending of all the work we’ve done this week. At the other end of the attack, there was some fantastic defending, involving some heroic goalkeeping.

To finish the day, we held half of our summer course raffle, which allows the children the chance to win some fantastic prizes. Today we gave away one of Albert Adomah’s specially made footballs and a sports direct voucher.

Tomorrow is the last day for this summers edition, with the theme being reflecting on your own performance. It’s been a fantastic week so far and a great summer overall!
