STAND YOUR GROUND

On Sunday, Park to Pro had a launch party in aid of the new service they are providing, in Panna Football.
The event was attended by QPR’s very own Albert Adomah and Yo Street Zone’s, Yofi Yvorra, as well as a number of local guests.
Throughout the afternoon the professionals locked horns in a tightly contested game of Panna, with children and parents taking part afterwards.

There was enjoyment seen from all involved, with more than 40 ‘Panna’s’ seen throughout the afternoon.

Park to Pro owner and organiser, Adam Clark, said, “I was delighted with the quality on show, in what was a momentous day for Park to Pro. Having 2 recognised faces within their sport in attendance, shows how popular this game is. I can’t thank Albert and Yofi enough, for the show they put on and the inclusion of all children. Everyone throughly enjoyed the afternoon and didn’t want it to end.”

QPR’s Albert Adomah, added, “Panna Football is so much fun and can develop you in many different ways. I grew up playing football on the streets and learnt many lessons in life. Playing in the Panna arena is the next best thing to this, so make sure you get involved.”

The other guest in attendance Yofi Yvorra, who runs a Panna programme in Margate under his own banner, Yo Street Zone, commented, “Panna seems daunting to start, but once you’re in the arena it’s so much fun. Trying to unlock your opponents legs is part of the challenge and there’s so many ways that you can do it. Get involved today and start your Panna experience, you won’t regret it!”

The Park to Pro Panna journey has now begun, so if you would you like further information on what we can provide, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via the Panna tab, found at the top of this page.

Partnership Growth

Partnership Growth

We’re delighted to confirm that our ongoing partnership with FC Bracknell, is set to continue. Over the last 7 – 8 months Park to Pro has worked alongside a number of coaches and players from the club, with the objective of improving performance.
As well as support on and off the field, Park to Pro can now confirm that we will be managing the ever so popular, ‘Soccer School’. The sessions take place at Farley Wood on a Saturday morning between 9am and 10am, enabling budding footballers to build their skills and confidence, in order to provide a pathway to organised matches. Working alongside FC Bracknell in helping the town’s youngest footballers with their development, is a key foundation to the football club.
Currently the school is used to form under 7 squads and this will continue, with a number of new concepts being introduced.

Park to Pro owner, Adam Clark said, “I’ve been working closely with a number of FC Bracknell staff over the last few months and the feedback has been excellent. We’ve all assisted each other in sharing ideas, which has helped our coaching evolve. Due to the pandemic, we couldn’t get any contact with the players, but we do have ideas in supporting them further, in the very near future. Managing the soccer school makes logical sense, in creating a solid foundation for the youngest players of the football club”.

FC Bracknell chairman, Neil Graham added, “The Soccer School is a crucial part of FC Bracknell and many of the players in our older teams, began their football journey there. We wanted to bring in someone who shares our values of fun, education and inclusivity. The team at Park to Pro are the perfect fit for this, with Adam’s passion for developing younger players clear to see. Having structure and organisation, whilst always ensuring football is fun, is one of the key areas we will be focusing on going forward.
Adam is a UEFA ‘A’ licensed coach and it’s vital FC Bracknell keep up with modern coaching techniques, whilst delivering quality training sessions, for the community we serve.
As well as his work with the Soccer School, Adam is keen to provide coaching and support to our year-group coaches and help them progress and develop”.

There will be further details released later on this week, to register your child with the FC Bracknell Soccer School. In the meantime, please use the, ‘For the Player’ tab, using soccer school.

Veo is coming!

Veo is coming!

The good news keeps materialising at Park to Pro!! We’re delighted to confirm that we have secured a Veo camera, for full use from July 2021.

The state of the art camera can be used in all weather conditions, with a height of 20 feet and can capture a full football pitch with it’s 180c viewpoint. The footage captured comes through two 4K lenses, which guarantees a clear picture to view via laptops, iPads and smart phones. There are many other benefits that come with this, including, coach/parental access to an online platform, downloadable files, annotation software and the opportunity to zoom in on specific footage.

You can view further information here; https://youtu.be/62p99PBBncw

The camera will be present at all of our training sessions, as well as games in the future. After the footage has been created, the Park to Pro coaching team will use an objective template to analyse the footage and feedback to the players.

Adam said, “This piece of equipment is highly regarded in the football world. It delivers remarkable results and will be key to us in delivering important feedback to the players, as well as coaches. Using this camera from an aerial point of view, along with the Go-Pro cameras at ground level, covers all of our bases which will give us the best opportunity to raise our bar and create better players. I’m delighted to have Veo on board with us at Park to Pro”.

This announcement is the second of three, with a further announcement being released soon. Keep an eye on our social media channels for further updates!

LEARN. TRAIN. DEVELOP YOUR GAME!

Street football is coming….

Street football is coming….

Sometimes overlooked or not given the credit it deserves, street football has a vast amount of benefits for it’s participants. Apart from being fun, street football offers players plenty of ball time, as well as the opportunity to execute a variety of different techniques.

Here at Park to Pro, we use coaching to help our players and our coaches, in assisting their journey from grassroots to the professional game. Outside the realms of football, there are many things that look like the sport we all love, but don’t quite tick the boxes on being universally correct. This is where a Panna Arena can get extremely close to the original game and bring a huge amount of benefit. What’s best? It can be played on hard surfaces.

Next, the idea of the game….put the ball through your opponents legs and you win. Failing that, if you score at least 1 more goal than your opponent, you’ll be a winner. It sounds like fun and it really is!

In the younger age groups specifically, we want players who can manipulate their opponent with the ball, as well as defending effectively in 1 vs 1 scenarios. The Panna Arena offers plenty of opportunity for this to happen and will give players enjoyment throughout the process.

There will be events announced in the coming weeks, where Panna Football will be coming to a street near you!
Contact us now for further information, on how we can help you, or your players in joining this exciting sport.

In the meantime…LEARN. TRAIN. DEVELOP YOUR GAME!!

Training centre growth

Training centre growth

The Park to Pro Training Centre is now in it’s 3rd week of operation, since the nationwide lockdown. The return to training has been excellent and has seen plenty of fun, smiles and laughter, which has been a welcome remedy after the long break.

There are another 2 new faces that have joined the team, since the December closure. Dan Lampton and Aiden Harris have both now started leading groups on a Monday & Friday, to assist with the demand of players. The return to play has been exciting and the quality on show has been expectational.

This month we will be introducing GoPro cameras for our coaches to wear during training. Initially, we will start with 1 camera to assess the process of how this new concept will work. Once the players and coaches are comfortable, we will then begin to add other cameras.
Adam said, “The GoPro cameras will give us that extra dimension to training and allow us coaches, to analyse what we’re doing. Sometimes the language that we use may get misinterpreted, which causes slight confusion. By watching the footage back and really honing in on the detail, will give us the opportunity to get better, which can then improve our players”.

As well as keeping up to date with technology, our Monday training session is now open to goalkeepers. There isn’t much focus on this position locally, so being able to now offer this, is an extra incentive to get involved with Park to Pro.

Lastly, there will be 2 further announcements in the next few weeks, which will take the Park to Pro Training Centre to unbelievable heights. The purpose has always been to assist the players and improve them where possible, so by introducing the next 2 additions, we’ll defiantly be doing that.

Keep up to date with all our news via Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Let’s ‘Go Pro’

Let’s ‘Go Pro’

Park to Pro are delighted to confirm that we’ll be using Go Pro camera’s at our training sessions, starting later on this month. The camera’s will be in regular attendance, with the coaches wearing them during training.
The purpose for the camera’s is to analyse the sessions from a coach perspective and use this footage for peer to peer feedback, alongside analytical purposes. By doing this we can improve our coaching and raise the bar.

Adam said, “Having the Go Pro camera’s at training will enable me to see what the coach in question see’s and to listen to the dialogue with players. Looking closer, we’ll be able to assist each other in raising our coaching standards and create better players. The game is evolving at a very high speed, so it’s only right we keep up with this and give the players the best opportunity to progress”.

This announcement is the first of 3, with the other 2 announcements released later this month. Please follow our social media platforms for further updates.
