Park to Pro are delighted to confirm that we’ll be using Go Pro camera’s at our training sessions, starting later on this month. The camera’s will be in regular attendance, with the coaches wearing them during training.
The purpose for the camera’s is to analyse the sessions from a coach perspective and use this footage for peer to peer feedback, alongside analytical purposes. By doing this we can improve our coaching and raise the bar.
Adam said, “Having the Go Pro camera’s at training will enable me to see what the coach in question see’s and to listen to the dialogue with players. Looking closer, we’ll be able to assist each other in raising our coaching standards and create better players. The game is evolving at a very high speed, so it’s only right we keep up with this and give the players the best opportunity to progress”.
This announcement is the first of 3, with the other 2 announcements released later this month. Please follow our social media platforms for further updates.
We’re delighted to confirm that the Park to Pro Panna Arena, will be available to hire from Monday 17th May. It’s been a long time coming, but with the easing of restrictions and an end date in sight, we can now plan a number of events.
If you’re looking for something different on a special occasion, or just the private hire during one afternoon, we’ll be more than happy to assist you.
Adam said; “We’ve had the arena now for around a month and it was a resounding success, on the recent Easter Football Course. We’re now looking forward to a busy summer schedule that will see birthdays, fetes and tournaments experience Panna. I’m really looking forward to making this piece of equipment available to the wider community”.
Currently Park to Pro have one arena in their possession, with a second one due in the next 10-14 days. Alongside this they also have a brand new PA system that can be used for larger events, or even music for a party. Having 2 arena’s available, means most events will be possible and there will be plenty of Panna played!
To book your arena or for further information, please contact us under the, ‘Panna Football’ tab, found at the top of the page.
Last week, the Park to Pro Coach Mentorship group were fortunate enough to spend an evening with FAI Coach Educator and Pro License holder, Jason Donohue.
Throughout the evening he explained his own coaching process, while educating all, on the importance of session structure and design. After this explanation the delegates were treated to some footage from previous ROI games, where the process was clearly visible.
Adam said, “I worked with Jason previously when I was studying for my UEFA A License and I learnt a lot from him. Once the mentorship programme was formed I knew I had to get coaches in, who could support our group. Jason obviously ticks this box and was able to guide us all through his interesting process”.
There are a couple of months left in this years mentorship programme, before plans are released for the 2021/22 season. If you’re interested in further information on the next coach mentorship programme, please email enquiries@parktopro.com.
After the success of our Easter Football Course, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting another football course, during the mid-term break.

The week is slightly shorter due to the bank holiday, but this won’t stop us organising a fun packed week. Our Panna Arena will again be present, along with a guest to two. During the rest of the course, the Park to Pro coaching team will be leading training sessions with various themes.
We are expecting another busy week, so if you are interested in booking a place, book now to avoid disappointment.
To register your interest please visit the, ‘For the Player’ tab found at the top of the page and select holiday courses. Here you will find everything you need to secure your place, for what promises to be another fantastic week!
In the past week we hosted our first football course, which was a resounding success. Throughout the 5 days our coaching team interacted with over 80 children, who shared a passion for the beautiful game.
Each day had a set theme, which was used to coach a variety of scenarios seen in the game. Having this structure worked extremely well and allowed the players to use these tools throughout the afternoon, when games/tournaments took place.
On Tuesday and Thursday we were joined by 2 guests in, Roco Rees (Brighton & Hove Albion U23’s goalkeeper) and Nick Bignall (ex Reading and Southampton attacker). Both shared valuable experiences on how they made it into the professional game, as well as advice in other areas. Each of our squads had some very testing questions and this provided some fun, with constructive feedback.
Elsewhere during the week, there was the opportunity for all of our players to experience the new Park to Pro Panna Arena. This was extremely enjoyable to watch, with all of the players showcasing a variety of skills. Throughout the day, all squads were allocated some time to play a knockout competition, as well as testing each other at lunchtime.
Our next course will be hosted in June (1st – 4th), when the schools finish for their mid-term break. Full details of this course will be available soon, with bookings being taken at the end of this month.
